The Redisage C22 is a versatile 2-port Serial Device Server designed to connect legacy RS232 or RS485 devices to a modern Ethernet network. Built on the high-performance STM32F4 microcontroller, it ensures reliable data transmission with low latency.
To ensure seamless integration with Windows systems, the device comes with a dedicated Virtual COM application (SW01), which allows your software to see remote devices as local COM ports.
• Ports: 2x Universal (RS232 or RS485)
• Configuration: Web Browser, Telnet, or Serial Console
• Operating Modes: Virtual COM, TCP Server/Client, UDP
• Protection: EMC & ESD circuits
• Power Supply: 12-30 VDC
The C22 Serial Device Server is the ultimate tool for engineers who need to bridge the gap between serial-based industrial machinery and Ethernet-based IT infrastructure. Equipped with 2 configurable ports (RS232/RS485), this device allows you to network-enable PLCs, HMIs, barcode scanners, and CNC machines.
Using the included Virtual COM software (Download SW01), the C22 creates virtual ports on your Windows PC (e.g., COM3, COM4) that map directly to the remote serial devices over the LAN. This means existing software applications can communicate with remote equipment without any code modification.
The device offers versatile management options, including a built-in Web Server, Telnet, or a serial console, allowing for easy deployment in any environment.
Technical Specifications:Whether you need to monitor a remote solar inverter or control access gates, the C22 offers the connectivity you need. Full manual available in the support section.
