The Redisage P01 gateway is a PAC (Programmable Automation Controller) class solution that combines the functionality of a PC with the reliability of a PLC. The heart of the device is the dual-core ESP32 Xtensa LX6 chip, making it a powerful platform for embedded system developers.
The P01 is an Open IoT device—the user has full control over the software and can implement custom control algorithms, data logging, or protocol conversion. Key features:

The P01 Open IoT Gateway is a flexible hardware platform designed for engineers who want to go beyond the limitations of ready-made, closed converters. The device is based on the popular and powerful ESP32 microcontroller, which enables the implementation of advanced Edge Computing functions—from simple data collection, through custom protocol conversion, to encrypted communication with the cloud (e.g., MQTT over SSL).
A unique feature of the P01 model is its two configurable serial ports (Combo). Each port has terminals for both RS232 and RS485 standards. This allows a single gateway to handle, for example, an older industrial scale (RS232) and a modern network analyzer (Modbus RTU over RS485) simultaneously.
The device is enclosed in a robust DIN-rail housing, features ESD protection on data lines, and includes a hardware Watchdog, guaranteeing stable 24/7 operation in harsh industrial conditions. Developers have access to full documentation and support for environments such as Arduino IDE, PlatformIO, or Espressif IDF.
