Product Description
The Redisage G16 allows for the segmentation and integration of large Modbus networks. Equipped with 4 independent RS485 ports, this gateway translates Modbus TCP traffic to 4 separate physical RS485 buses. This architecture significantly improves network response times and reliability by isolating different zones of the facility.
Based on the high-performance STM32F4 microcontroller, the G16 ensures stable operation even with heavy Modbus traffic. Key features:

G16 – High-Density Modbus Integration
The G16 Modbus Gateway is the flagship solution for SCADA integrators managing extensive RS485 networks. Instead of daisy-chaining hundreds of devices on a single line (which increases latency and failure risk), the G16 allows you to split the network into 4 independent RS485 segments. This device converts Modbus TCP requests from the Ethernet network into Modbus RTU packets on the appropriate serial port.
The gateway supports flexible routing, allowing multiple Modbus TCP Masters to access Slaves across all four ports simultaneously. Each port features switchable 120 Ohm termination resistors, simplifying physical installation. The device also supports Router Mode, enabling legacy serial Masters to control IP-based Slaves.
With its robust STM32 architecture and ESD protection, the G16 is designed for mission-critical applications in energy management, building automation, and industrial process control.
