Redisage's Modbus Gateway G13 enables wired and wireless data transmission between LAN hosts and serial devices by converting Modbus protocols (Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU/ASCII). It is intended to be used in networks but not only. Apart from extending the capabilities of industrial devices, they can be also adapted to the users requirements and needs. The G13 offers two transmission modes: Gateway and Router. In Gateway mode, the port is used for communication with Slave devices, while in Router mode, it communicates with Master devices. Different modes can be set independently on each port. The G13 device features Wi-Fi module, 2x RS232/RS485 port, RJ45 Ethernet socket, and supports data transmission speeds up to 115200 bps. It is based on an ESP32 microcontroller, operates on a 12–30 VDC power supply, and stands out for its low power consumption of less than 1W.
