Product Description
The Redisage G13 is a hybrid Modbus Gateway that enables wireless integration of serial devices into a Modbus TCP network. It is equipped with both a Wi-Fi module (2.4 GHz) and a wired Ethernet port, offering flexibility in installation and connection redundancy.
Like the G03, it features 2 independent universal ports (Combo), configurable as RS232 or RS485. The device actively translates protocols, relieving the SCADA system of handling serial transmission details. Key features:

About G13
G13 – Wireless Freedom for Modbus Networks
The G13 Modbus Gateway solves the problem of integrating serial automation components in locations where running Ethernet cables is difficult or expensive. Using an industrial Wi-Fi interface (802.11 b/g/n), the G13 wirelessly connects Modbus RTU/ASCII devices (sensors, meters, PLCs) to the main Modbus TCP control system.
The device performs intelligent protocol translation. This means it accepts Modbus TCP queries over Wi-Fi (or Ethernet), converts them to Modbus RTU, sends them to the appropriate serial port, and returns the response to the Master. The 2 Combo ports allow simultaneous connection of RS232 and RS485 devices.
The external SMA antenna ensures a stable connection even in industrial environments. Additionally, the G13 supports Router Mode, allowing older serial Modbus Masters (e.g., HMI) to control remote TCP Slaves wirelessly.
