Product Description
The Redisage R02 is a cost-effective alternative to the R01, providing 3000 VDC isolation on one side (Output). It is designed to create isolated branches in an RS485 network, preventing faults in a specific segment from affecting the rest of the system.
Like the R01, it regenerates the signal to extend distance and supports automatic flow control. Key features:

About R02
R02 – Intelligent Network Segmentation
The R02 RS485 Repeater is specifically built for segmentation in large industrial networks. By placing the isolation barrier on the Output side, the R02 allows you to extend the bus into new, potentially hazardous areas while protecting the main backbone. If a short circuit or surge occurs on the "isolated" side, the rest of the network remains safe.
The device supports bidirectional data flow and is transparent to all RS485 protocols. It regenerates the signal shape and voltage, allowing for reliable communication over an additional 1200 meters. The built-in 120 Ohm termination can be easily enabled via a switch, ensuring impedance matching on the new segment.
