The Redisage H02 is a specialized RS485 Hub focused on protecting field devices. It splits the main bus into three branches, providing galvanic isolation for the Output Ports. This means that the three output branches are isolated from the input port and from each other.

This configuration is ideal for isolating problematic network segments. If one branch experiences interference or a short circuit, the other two branches and the Master controller remain unaffected. Key features:

About H02
H02 – Isolating RS485 Branches

The H02 RS485 Hub is designed to segment large industrial networks into smaller, electrically separate blocks. While the main function is splitting one RS485 line into three, the H02 focuses its protection on the output ports. Each of the three output branches is galvanically isolated from the input and from the other branches.

This architecture is critical when devices on different branches are powered from different sources or located in areas with high potential differences. It effectively prevents ground loops and ensures that a failure (like a lightning strike or voltage spike) on Branch A does not propagate to Branch B or C.

The device supports data rates up to 115200 bps and regenerates the signal on each branch, allowing for extended cable runs up to 1200m per port.
