The Redisage H03 is a 1-to-3 RS485 Hub configured to prioritize the protection of the Master device (e.g., PLC, PC, HMI). It features 3000 VDC galvanic isolation on the Input Port, separating the control unit from the potentially hazardous field network.

It allows for the splitting of the signal into three branches while ensuring that noise or surges from any of the branches do not reach the Master. Key features:

Split: 1 Input -> 3 Outputs (Star Topology)
Isolation: Input Side (Master Protection)
• Power Supply: 12-30 VDC or 24 VAC
• Signal: Regenerated on all ports

About H03
H03 – Protecting the RS485 Master

The H03 RS485 Hub allows automation engineers to connect up to three branches of devices to a single RS485 port while ensuring the safety of the main controller. The device features 3000 VDC galvanic isolation on the Input port. This creates a safety barrier between the expensive central control system (Master) and the extensive cabling of the field devices (Slaves).

The H03 acts as a signal repeater, regenerating the data stream to ensure reliable communication over long distances (up to 1200m per branch). It is particularly useful when the field network runs through noisy environments (e.g., near large motors) or outdoors, where the risk of induced surges is high. The hub automatically detects transmission direction and requires no software setup.
