The C12 RS232 to RS485 Converter provides essential protection for automation systems. In typical installations, the RS485 bus runs through noisy environments (near motors, inverters), picking up electromagnetic interference and potential spikes. The C12 uses an isolated RS485 transceiver (3kV) to block these disturbances from reaching the power supply and the local RS232 controller.
